This year’s finale will, as always, feature the United Rays Corvette Club, MAD Dad’s Inc., the Dance Masters Roland and Bill Ford and their dance companies and a special salute to honor the legend Sly Jock. Doors open for line dancers early, set at 8:00 p.m., with Roland Ford spinning the jams and the par-tay goes on till 1:00.  $10 donation will benefit The Champions Toys for Tots Christmas Party and Toy Giveaway. The Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) has been a contributory member in the fight against the virus outbreak, and their latest aid is the donation of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits for the medical professionals who are toiling in the front line.Advertisement Image Courtesy: PCI/AFPThe news was confirmed via the official Twitter handle of PCI on Saturday. The PPE kits were donated to the Govt of Delhi by PCI Secretary General Sh. Gursharan Singh, along with PCI Governing Board members Ashok Bedi and Satya Babu.Advertisement A total of 500 PPE kits, which were manufactured in Bengaluru were donated to the Delhi govt, as Gursharan Singh revealed in a statement.“The PCI donated 500 PPE kits to Delhi government. We gave the kits to AAP Rajya Sabha MP N D Gupta on Saturday,” Singh told PTI.The PCI Secretary Gen further added that 100 more kits are planned to be donated to the central government.“We are going to hand over 1000 PPE kits to the union sports secretary on Monday as our donation to the central government,” Singh added.Back in March, all PCI office employees and working staffs decided to donated their one-day salary to the PM CARES Fund. Avinash Rai Khanna, PCI’s chief patron also pledged a month of salary to the COVID-19 relief fund.“Let our unity in diversity for this fight against COVID-19 be a trendsetter to others,” PCI said in a statement last month.India has won a total 12 medals in the Paralympic games, four each in gold, silver and bronze medals.
