Realme 5-series is now official in India. The company announced the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro at an event in New Delhi on Tuesday along with a brand new pair of Realme Buds 2 earphones. The Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro are the company’s first set of quad camera phones to offer users more ways to capture photos. In addition to sporting four rear cameras, the Realme 5 phones also tout new crystal designs, Minidrop displays, large batteries and new Snapdragon processors, among other things.Realme 5, Realme 5 Pro price in India and first sale dateRealme 5 has been priced starting at Rs 9,999 for the base model that comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It also comes in 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB variants that are priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 11,999, respectively. The Realme 5 will be available in Crystal Blue and Crystal Purple colours.Realme 5 Pro’s price in India starts at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB + 64GB storage option. It will also be available in 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB variants that are priced at Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. The Realme 5 Pro will be available in Crystal Green and Sparkling Blue colours. In addition, Realme Buds 2 with 11.2mm bass boost driver and dual tangle-free cable has been launched at Rs 599.Both the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro will be available on Flipkart and Realme.com. On the front, the Realme 5 Pro gets a 16-megapixel selfie camera with HDR and AI beautification. The main camera gets features like Nightscape, Chromaboost and HDR. The rear camera also supports Nightscape, Chroma Boost and HDR modes. The curved, droplet notch is smaller and flatter compared to past dewdrop displays. The Realme 5 gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock. It measures 164.4×75.6×9.3mm and weighs 198 grams.It is powered by a new 2.0Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 665 AIE chipset based on a 11nm process.
