Cowabunga The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Are Coming to Injustice 2

Everyone’s favorite pizza eating mutated reptilians are set to make their debut in Injustice 2. I’m talking about none other than the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The cold-blooded martial arts masters will be joined by the previously announced Atom and new character, Enchantress, as part of the game’s third Fighter Pack. This announcement was made during the Injustice 2 Championship playoffs. The trailer starts off with Black Manta and Mortal Kombat‘s Raiden getting their butts kicked by an unseen foe. After that, it cuts to Atom facing off against Enchantress. Their fight is interrupted by the aforementioned Ninja Turtles. The CG trailer doesn’t tell us much about how the turtles fight, but it does provide some clues. Michelangelo says he wants to fight Enchantress but Leonardo tells him they fight as a team. It’s possible that players will only get to play as one turtle at a time, instead of getting to pick one of the four. This would make sense since it is doubtful Fighter Pack 3 will include six new characters.Below, you can see footage of how the crowd, er… krowd, reacted to the announcement, courtesy of NetherRealm’s Ed Boon. That krowd reaction though….pic.twitter.com/ErSLhWVbrA— Ed Boon (@noobde) November 11, 2017The Ninja Turtles and DC’s superheroes have appeared in many games over the years but it’s great to see them together in a title. While this trailer was fun, I want to see footage of what the turtles look and fight like in the actual game. Seeing the turtles going toe-to-toe against Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman is something I know a lot of folks will enjoy. The Atom is currently available for those who have either purchased Fighter Pack 3 or own the Ultimate Edition of Injustice 2. Enchantress is set to drop sometime in January, with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in February. Injustice 2 launches on PC tomorrow, November 14.center_img Toy Tuesday: The Coolest Car Toys‘Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Is Basically Injus… last_img
