first_img Facebook Twitter: @NeosKosmos Instagram George Papadopoulos, committee member of Pankoaki Brotherhood and his son Nick will once again be taking part in the Kidney Kids Kar Rally to raise funds for Kidney Health Australia. The money will go towards supporting children with kidney disease to attend a special camp with their families, with the necessary medical staff and equipment which they otherwise wouldn’t get the opportunity to do due to their medical condition.Mr Papadopoulos understands first-hand what these children go through each day and the activities they miss out on as he also suffers from kidney disease. To help these children, Mr Papadopoulos together with his son Nick will be leaving Melbourne on 7 August and driving 1300 km to Port Macquarie, where the rally commences, heading to Rockhampton. On the way, they will be stopping overnight in various towns, including Uralla, Goondiwindi and Miles for what is sure to be a well-earned break. They will also be visiting Toowoomba before heading to Armidale on 17 August, and then travelling another 1800 km to get home on the 18th.Both Mr Papadopoulos and his son have participated in these rallies over several years, and say they are getting bigger every year. The Pankoaki Brotherhood and its members will once again be assisting the father and son to raise funds for the worthwhile cause, and call upon the Greek community to assist.Donations can be made directly to Kidney Health Australia or to the Pankoaki Brotherhood on 0425 740712.Receipts from Kidney Health Australia will be issued for all donations.last_img
