‘BOY-RACERS’ FINED AFTER RALLY WEEKEND ARRESTS

first_imgA number of young men have appeared before Letterkenny District Court charged with motoring offences over the rally weekend.The box junction outside the local courthouse in Letterkenny where many of the offences took place.The men, the majority of whom were from outside Donegal, were arrested for a range of offences over the weekend. At one stage Garda Darren Carter showed Judge Paul Kelly video footage which had been uploaded to Facebook.The footage showed a car doing doughnuts outside Gallagher’s Hotel and the local courthouse at Main Street, Letterkenny.All those who appeared before the court were handed down fines ranging from €350 to €500.Judge Paul Kelly told one offender from Co Galway “You think you can come up from Galway and drive like a lunatic.
