Despite a solid four-catch, 71-yard outing, he dropped a would-be touchdown that could have tied the game.Unfortunately, the night only got worse for Bell, who was seen crying after the brutal play. He has since been mocked relentlessly on social media. Now, FOX Sports analyst Joel Klatt has decided to stand up for the embattled wideout.Taking to Twitter earlier this morning, Klatt ripped the fans who have teased and criticized him. He declared that there’s a good chance that fans who mock him “won’t achieve 1/10(th) of what this young man has already achieved.” For all the trash fans that want to bag on Ronnie Bell. He is a great young man and a great player!! No one feels worse than him… Good chance you won’t achieve 1/10 of what this young man has already achieved in your whole life! Now go warm up the meatloafFor all the trash fans that want to bag on Ronnie Bell.He is a great young man and a great player!!No one feels worse than him…Good chance you won’t achieve 1/10 of what this young man has already achieved in your whole life! Now go warm up the meatloaf— Joel Klatt (@joelklatt) October 20, 2019It’s a strong message from Klatt to be sure.Whether you’re a fan of Michigan or not, you’ve got to be able to empathize with the young man.Bell is a bonafide deep threat who has averaged over 18 yards per reception in his two years at Michigan. With a little more time and development, he could even become an NFL-caliber player.Michigan ultimately lost the game, 28-21, dropping to 5-2 on the season.Next up: A home game against rival Notre Dame.last_img read more
